Deleting a Custom Field

You can delete Custom Fields that are no longer required.

To remove a Custom Field:

  1. Go to Settings in top navigation.
  2. In left navigation, select KACE Cloud > Custom Fields > Devices to open the custom field list.
  3. Select a Custom Field from the Custom Fields list to open the field details.
  4. Click Remove. It opens a Remove Custom Field dialog.
  5. Click Confirm to remove the Custom Field from the list.

NOTE: Administrators can delete a custom field only if it is not linked to a smart label. If the field is linked, deletion is not allowed, and a warning message prompts the administrator to remove the field from the smart label before proceeding.
